Britney Spears- "Till the World Ends" Video

So I first heard this song a couple weeks back during my trip to AC (Atlantic City, NJ). After the fifth time my friend Chris played the song during the car ride, I couldn't get it out of my head and ever since I've been playing it on repeat in my ipod.

It's a really great dance record. The video is also really great. I love that she stuck with the concept of "dancing til the world ends". Although she still looks a little stiff, Britney is still making an effort to come back and prove that her talent never left. I believe she's going to be around for awhile. Even if you don't like Britney Spears, you have got to admit the girl knows how to market herself! She's a great performer (well atleast she use to be...I haven't seen her perform live during her "comeback" stage).

Thoughts, Dreamers?

Nicki Minaj/ Gwen Stefani: Dual Cover Issue of Elle May 2011

The ladies are looking fabulous if I might add. I haven't seen Gwen Stefani in the spotlight for a minute but I'm glad she's back.

Nicki Minaj Spread:
On her career aspirations growing up: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character—a superhero.”
On her sense of style: “I tend to like booties…[pause]”—she takes a beat to clarify: no sexual meaning implied—“and really flashy shoes: totally studded out, in five colors with an insane platform.”

Gwen Stefani's Spread:
Prince, who is one of my idols, gave me some advice when I worked with him: “Have you ever just tried writing a hit? Like, don’t just try writing a song, try and write a hit song.” I remember him saying that and me thinking, Yeah, you’re right. Why would you write anything else?”

The MET's Alexander McQueen Exhibition

I've been longing to visit the New York Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art (MET) for the first time and now my thirst for art grows even stronger because their newest exhibit honors the gifted, talented and well missed, Alexander McQueen.

Here are a few pictures from the exhibition:

Not to mention every piece was taken out of Lady Gaga's closet. No wonder she was such a fan of him.

Now do you see why I want to go to the MET even more than I did before.

Rachel by Rachel Roy Jewelery

So Rachel Roy is an AMAZING designer and if you aren't familiar with her work, here is a chance for you to see it...well her jewelery atleast.
(Here she is wearing her own earrings)

AND HERE are some of my favorite pieces from her website:

Sorry I'm a little obsessed with animal jewelery right now...

Chris Brown- "Spend it All" video

There's nothing really explicit about this video...nothin you don't see at the beach so I don't really think it needs the 18+ warning...but whatever.
The song still needs to grow on me...I'm not feelin it that much yet.
BUT i am a SUPER DUPER fan of his F.A.M.E album!! FIVE STARSSSSS

Mister Cee on the Down Low??

So if you haven't heard this story then you've been living UNDER a rock!!

Recently, Hot 97's on Dj Mister Cee has been accused of receiving oral sex from a transvestite. Although he denies the allegations, the supposed police report shows other wise.

Now I have nothing against the gay community but don't go out of your way to hide it or be ashamed. Like they say, "What happens in the dark, will always come out in the light".

Jay Z Life+Times

So music mogul and genius Jay-Z has started his own blog!
Fellow Hip Hop counterparts like Kanye West and Drake also have blogs if you didn't know.

This should be very interesting and I'm really fascinated to see where he's going to go with this.
With tags like "Leisure", "Style", "Music", and "Art+Design" Jay-Z is planning to take over the blogging world...giving it a taste of something they've never seen before.

I really love the graphics of the site...the designer of this site has some serious skills. The sight introduces you to new music and fashion styles.

I can't wait to see how it evolves :)
