Race Relations

Anderson Cooper: "The Doll Study"

Anderson Cooper did a race study with several children in Georgia, separated by two different age groups. All children in the group were either of the Caucasian or African-American race. Half of the children were from the north and the other half from the south. The study was to discover whether children show racial biases at a young age.
This video is really sad. I don't know why but I was really surprised that so many children feel this way. They're way too young to think in such a discriminatory fashion. I really hate how divided our world is when it comes to race. If children are the future, the future isn't looking too bright if our children's minds are filled with racial biases.
I'm all for happiness and smiles....Can't we all just get along?

  1. Hmm.. Interesting. I'm impressed by the girl at the end of the clip. Her parents taught her well :) I know for a fact this doesn't only happen in America but around the World as well.

    Thanx for sharing :)
